Resource includes starter activities on other poems in the Eduquas Anthology. This includes asking students to write down information about each poet named on the board. Students are expected to include context in their GCSE Literature exam. The main activity includes notes on key aspects of To Autumn and comments on how nature is presented. Students are then expected to write a response in their books about how nature is presented in the poem. There is a model answer including an introduction on context. Extra activities could include printing the model answer and getting students to highlight comments about the poet/context, comments that link to the task - nature/subject terminology.
