Here you will find 18 lessons I’ve used to teach my class An Inspector Calls. The lessons come with page numbers and where extracts are necessary for whole class annotation, you will find them in the power points. Differentiates homework booklets and quotations sheets are also included for you to adapt as you wish easily in word. This is designed to be a minimal effort resource. You will need to look at the lessons, but this will save you hours of time, and it will help you differentiate for your groups.

This booklet will help you engage your pupils in improving their AIC work. I use it in the week or two weeks directly after they’ve taken their mock exams to buy me time to mark them without pupils nagging me. It also saves me from the trauma that is trying to get them to improve their work by just ‘redrafting’. 7 Weeks worth of vocabulary that you could use as the basis for quizzing whilst you teach An Inspector Calls. Each week there is a list of core vocab and a table of more advanced vocabulary for more independent learners. These lists compliment my AIC SOL, but can of course be used completely independently.

Here are 7 different essays that I have used with my classes. They provide good quality examples for pupils to emulate, and distinguish between poor quality and good quality essay writing. Whichever character you are revising, there will be something useful here for you. I’ve also included review bookmark to help point pupils in the right direction if they don’t understand what an essay is made of yet.
