Students can use this worksheet to practice photo descriptions. Task 1 gives them the vocabulary needed to create description sentences via a matching exercise. Task 2 gets them to read and decipher some description sentences and to link them with one of the images. Task 3 asks students to come up with their own description while providing some useful words for that photo. There is also a selection of photos at the back for further independent practice. Spanish - Photo Description and translation, Holidays and Leisure This is a good resource to print for students so they can gain example structures and vocabulary for photo descriptions. They might need a dictionary to complete this independently. Can be used in class giving them a few minutes to complete each task independently and then going through it with them to explore new vocabulary. Task 4 could be used as a marking opportunity. The previous tasks provide a scaffold for task 4.
