Practice or assess: Asking & answering questions about society's problems

This lovely looking domino game is aimed at GCSE students. As it is all in English, it can be used to teach any language. The 'society's problems' topics covered in this domino set are: violence, homeless people, natural disasters, causes-consequences, opinion, uses of present, past, conditional tenses. The game can be played by individuals, pairs or small groups (ideally 6 people maximum). The winner will be the first person to have used all his/her dominos. Differenciation: Encourage stronger students to develop their answers with more details. I would love to hear how you got on with this game: Thank you for leaving a review.

Practice or assess structure words-connectives in French (match cards set 2)

These funky looking match cards are aimed at GCSE students learning French. They can be used during the year over and over again with your topics, reinforcing memorisation. There are 20 different structure words in total. Students can put 1-2 cards in front of them and try to use the vocabulary during the lesson Students can liaise together to find their matching partner (great game for pairing students before an activity) Students can use them to play the memory game (encourage them to make sentences related to current topic)... Differenciation: Also included in this resource is a second set of match cards with the same vocabulary: that set is plain making the memory game and match game more difficult. Also available in my shop: domino and board games using the same set of vocabulary, another similar set of match cards to expand your list, similar match cards in Spanish-English. I would love to hear how you got on with this game: Thank you for leaving a review.

Tenses and Translations practice in French with the topic of health and illnesses

This progressive resource is aimed at students learning French at low and higher levels. It contains a list of regular and irregular verbs related to the health-illnesses topic. The conjugation of irregular verbs and verbs with spelling changes is included. Students can refer to it when doing the activities. The tenses used in the exercices are: present, perfect, imperfect, future, conditional and pluperfect. Students can fill the gaps with just the tense you are studying. I have also included the answers in French as well as in English so that the resource can be used to practice translating (some notes were added to help doing just that). This resource allows me to check the progress of my students: Once they master the present, perfect, imperfect and future, I ask them to do the conditional and pluperfect tenses exercices. The game 'Translate and reveal the French expression' can be used as homework or pair work (all tenses are needed except the pluperfect). You will also find in my shop fgibbison, some vocabulary, reading and listening (with recording) resources related to this topic and many other fun resources in English, German and Spanish. I would love to hear how you got on with this resource: Thank you for leaving a review. I thoroughly review my resources to ensure that they are accurate. However, should you find some errors, I would appreciate if you could let me know. Merci Françoise.
