At the start of the lesson they write the objectives in, at the end the RAG each objective and set a plan for how they are going to ensure all objectives become green. Teachers can then collect this in and use it to prepare revision or the next lesson.

Students can often become confused by some of the Sperry findings, using this table alongside teaching the methodology allows students to breakdown the procedure, using their knowledge predict findings and compare this to the actual findings from Sperry. Comparing the predictions of students to the actual findings also gives teachers a chance to assess how well students understand the background and procedure of the study
