I wanted some word problems based on Anglo-Saxons for our topic week at school, so I produced this. I realise that present calendars are not exactly the same as Anglo-Saxon calendars, but for the purposes of this lesson, I used Anglo-Saxon equivalent names for the days and months. The actual dates are historically accurate, I believe. There are 3 differentiated sections (we use Apprentice, Graduate and Master) that can be edited to suit your class. Answers included too.
Interim Teacher Assessment Frameworks statements taken straight from the documents and put onto a tracker. To be used by staff and pupils to assess statements achieved. 3 X columns to prove mastery. Can be used for lower KS2, as well as upper KS2, as many statements still apply (especially in Science).
