Teaching 3,4, & 8 Times Tables Facts Whole Week Unit Planning, Resources and Intro Boards - Year 3
This is the first week of teaching times tables facts from the new NC curriculum. The focus is on 3,4 and 8 times tables as set out in the new curriculum.
I have included worksheets, Smart Notebook boards and planning.
Teaching Written Methods of Multiplication - Year 3 Whole Unit inc - Planning, Worksheets & Intros
This resource links to my previous week on teaching times tables facts for the 3,4 and 8 times tables.
Children are now taught to link times tables understanding to formal written methods. Starting with partitioning method and then moving on to the grid method of multiplication. Focus is on deepening and broadening understanding as outlined in the new curriculum.
