Christmas Story Inferring Emotions This Christmas story inferring emotions activity consists of a story and task cards (plus answer keys). The story, Starbright’s Important Mission, tells the Christmas story through the eyes of the star. There are then task cards requiring students to infer the emotions of the characters that feature in the story. The task cards are: Be an emotion detective: describe the emotion of the characters at specific points of the story and ‘extra for experts’ extension task Draw ‘mood journeys’ for three of the main characters and ‘extra for experts’ extension task Find the evidence to support key information and ‘extra for experts’ extension tasks There are answer keys for each of the task cards.
