Positivity Postcard
Positivity praise postcard to send home with children at the end of the day when they have done something positive.
This is even more important this year as face-to-face conversations with parents are not really allowed to happen.
Can be printed on card so they last longer!
I hope you enjoy this resource, feel free to amend it and of course change my Bitmoji! Please tag me on social media if you use it!
Early Finisher Task Cards
I have created a selection of tasks for early finishers.
I have included a variety of tasks for a variety of different subjects including literacy, maths, science and creative tasks. Some of these tasks could be completed over several lessons/ days.
I will ask my class to complete these activities in their jottings books.
I hope you find this resource useful- feel free to edit it and of course change my Bitmoji.

Pencil Case Check-List
We introduced pencil cases in KS2 last year and the biggest issue I found with them is the items just miraculously going missing from day to day, sometimes hour to hour! I have decided to create a pencil case check-list which I will laminate for each child in my class, and at the end of every day, they will tick each item to make sure they have it all, so we are ready for the next morning.
Feel free to edit my template, and change my Bitmoji!
End of Day Check-List
No matter how old children get- they always seem to forget something at the end of the day!
I have created an end of day check-list to try and aid this for my year 6’s this year. I will have this up near the door of the classroom, and near their pegs so they can refer to it at the end of every day.
Feel free to edit my resource and to change my Bitmoji!
Pupil Reward Cards
In addition to the prize box I have, this year I have created some pupil reward cards.
Pupil’s can earn these as extra special rewards when they have achieved something really great.
They include things such as showing the whole class a YouTube video of their choice and earning extra break time.
Feel free to edit and adapt this resource to suit your needs- and of course change my Bitmoji!
Back to School Questionnaire
A questionnaire for my class to complete on their first day back this week to get a gage of which children are happy to be back at school, how safe they feel and if they have any concerns. There is also space for them to write any questions down that they want to ask me.
I will then read the questionnaires and feedback on any worries and concerns the next day either to the child individually, or the whole class.
I hope you find this resource useful- feel free to adapt it and of course change my Bitmoji!
If you use it, I’d love to see how so please tag me on social media!
Have You Finished? Display.
I find as the children get older, the discrepancy in the classroom between those who finish quickly and those who don’t, gets bigger and bigger. For this year I have been putting in a lot of effort into creating some early finisher work.
I have created a display to aid this and thought I’d share it with the world!
Feel free to adapt it to suit you and off course change my Bitmoji! I hope you find the resource useful.
Pumpkin Art Lesson
I have created a pumpkin based art lesson for October school with my year 6’s this week and thought I’d share it.
I have created step-by-step slides with pictures of how to create the pictures. I am not the best at art but it shows the basic idea!
I hope you enjoy the resource. Please tag me if you use it :)
