A river long profile activity covering the physical and human activities and processes along a river in the upper, middle and lower sections e.g river processes, transport, land-use etc.
Students choose the correct answers from a choice of 3 for each of the 18 sections.
Works well with KS4 and KS5.

A set of 6 outline graphic organisers for GCSE tectonics (restless earth). Originally made for AQA A, but can be used for other exam boards. In word format so specific case study titles can be added. Easily adaptable for A Level. Also in PDF format for use with iPads and other devices. When used for writing on best used when printed on A3.
Organisers can be completed by research, in a market place lesson, using experts etc.

This weathering activity combines cross word clues with a word search base in which the answers are found.
Cross-word element helps with definitions. Word search element helps with literacy element of spelling key terms.
One document is the worksheet and the other the answers.

There are also tracking grids for each. I use this resource to track progress without using numerical levels.
