Each lesson follows a structured learning path with a quick quiz to start students off and a reflective self-evaluation to end the lesson. Photo-prompt lessons include links to video soundscapes to enliven pupils’ imaginations and aid with sensory description. Photo prompts are used regularly to mimic the AQA GCSE creative writing task and to stimulate discussion. Each lesson is based around bright, vibrant, attractive PowerPoints designed to engage even the most disenchanted students. All activities are differentiated to support the weakest and challenge the strongest students in your classes. The pack contains the following: Lesson 1: Show Don’t Tell.
