KS2 literacy - punctuation - add full stops and capital letters to fiction narrative paragraph

An editing exercise to practise adding capital letters; or full stops and capital letters to a narrative. This is aimed at KS2 pupils who need further practise with this skill or for those who need practise using full stops and capital letters with a variety of sentences and/or in paragraphs. Pupils edit a pre-written text with a counter at the bottom to let them know how many they are looking for. Worksheets are split into the two skills to allow for differentiation. Answer sheets are included.

Activity consists of six initial questions that focus on adding a teen number to a two digit number without crossing the tens boundaries in the units column. Also contains a further six questions for pupils who may still have misconceptions. Finally, a challenge question to allow pupils to use this skill in a different context. Two answer sheets are included. One with all answers correct. One with a deliberate mistake (one per each set of six questions) which is great for self-marking, allowing for teacher and/or pupil assessment.
