Listening task using some of Conti’s methods for Chapter 6 of the AQA spec. It’s quite a long task so I would break this up and really get into the transcript (which I’ve typed out). I’ve also included the answers to save you time. It’s a Latin American accent with lots of new vocab so something to really push students.

Year 11 advent calendar giving them a challenge per day in the run up to the Christmas holidays and prior to their mock exams afterwards.

Working through examples in order to answer a speaking/writing question. Students look at an example I’ve done, then complete one as a class before creating their own. Some will rely heavily on the examples, others will be able to see what’s required and create their own masterpiece.

In the lead up to the exams, we’re challenging our year 11 students to recall all topics and tenses covered so that they’re feeling confident to tackle their exams this summer!
