It is a fun interactive bingo game that reinforces the mental maths required for their timetables including their 1,2,3,4 and 5 timetables. It only needs to be printed out and it is ready to be used It would be helpful to use after they have learnt the topics and can be used as an activity towards the end of the lesson or as a starter to raise the energy levels of the children as it gets them more involved. There are 5 randomly arranged bingo sheets, so can be used for a class of 30 children. The answers are also provided at the end of document, so all you have to do is read the answers out. Introduction to Algebra Worksheet - No prep!

It’s a simple review worksheet of the basics of algebra, of ‘How to the find X’. I use this to ensure students are able to rearrange equations in the correct order. Using it as a ‘Back to the Basics’ reassures the students they know the basics providing them with confidence. I would use this for year 8 students upwards, as it’s always good for students to review the basics. It allows the students to understand the rules are the same, regardless whether its with whole numbers, decimals, negatives etc. There are 30 questions, all with varying ability. Answers are included.
