It’s a simple review worksheet of the basics of algebra, of ‘How to the find X’. I use this to ensure students are able to rearrange equations in the correct order. Using it as a ‘Back to the Basics’ reassures the students they know the basics providing them with confidence. I would use this for year 8 students upwards, as it’s always good for students to review the basics. It allows the students to understand the rules are the same, regardless whether its with whole numbers, decimals, negatives etc. There are 30 questions, all with varying ability. It is reflection sheet directed at GCSE Chemistry students so that they are able identify gaps in their knowledge so they are more effective with their revision time. I would also use this when I start tutoring a student, so I am able to understand where they think they are in terms of content so that I can use the time more efficiently and effectively. It allows people to appreciate their peers anonymously, whilst having a fun time. I use this whilst working at summer camps, after completing a project with colleagues. It can be used after team activities, team situations, programmes. It has helped a lot when working with young students. I have also got a lot of appreciation for doing this activity as the students felt more valued knowing their peers appreciated them. I hope you enjoy using this as much as I do! It is an improvisation debate on trust. It’s about who they feel they can or can not trust. It only needs to be printed out and it is ready to be used It would be helpful to use after they have learnt the topics and can be used as an activity towards the end of the lesson or as a starter to raise the energy levels of the children as it gets them more involved. There are 5 randomly arranged bingo sheets, so can be used for a class of 30 children. The answers are also provided at the end of document, so all you have to do is read the answers out. It’s a cheat sheet for A2 Chemistry Students who are studying AQA Chemistry. It breaks down the reactions and identifies patterns which make it easier to memorise the reactions. I have personally used it during my A-Levels as well as teaching A-Level students who have found it much easier to memorise whilst using this sheet.
