A power point created to full fill the learning gaps in student’s knowledge of general music skills from the lack of lessons during the first lock down. This power point consists of lessons ready to use that covers: musical elements, genres, musical families and body percussion etc. With limited instruments and equipment I designed this scheme to embed key knowledge. There are also two assessment tests that accompanies the lesson power points, one a baseline and the other used at the end of the scheme and also used for homeworks. A student work book is also provided with worksheets that also accompanies the power point.

I have created a Year 7 keyboard skills and basic musical skills unit of work, which includes: complete lesson plan power point resources, student activity booklet accompanying the power point self assessment video tutorials A very detailed resource for any subject teacher to use whilst delivering Key stage 3 music, Year 7. No extra planning is required. I have delivered this to students at my school and they have received it successfully. I have created a power point presentation for the unit Urban Dance that I teach to my year 8 students. I use this as my planning also. The unit involves students: learning and performing a set motif choreographed by the teacher, group choreography, self and peer assessment, with a performance at the end of the unit for assessment. Performance skills are included alongside basic urban dance skills. This resource could also be used remotely if the teacher posts a video of their motif for students to learn, student can choreograph a solo to add and then submit a self assessment form afterwards. Students could also video themselves and send it to a friend for peer assessment and complete a PA as well.

I have created a 55 page Key Stage 3 dance theory booklet to allow non participants to access the dance curriculum. Very detailed and creative. Can be used to embed key vocabulary and includes a variety of tasks to keep students entertained. This booklet has been received successfully by all students in dance at my school and helps to engage those students who hold a barrier up against dance. Content will also be useful if students choose to opt for dance with key knowledge
