GCSE AQA Core Physics - The Origin Of The Universe (12 slide ppt) and 2 wsheets

(0)
This is a 12 slide power point and 2 A4 work sheets, covering the AQA GCSE physics (core) syllabus. It covers , why the universe is expanding, red shift, Doppler effect, Big Bang theory, Steady state theory, CMBR, and limitations of the theories. The work sheets can be used in conjunction with the power point. Can be used in class, as a homework, or for revision.

This 20 slide ppt covers the GCSE AQA physics syllabus for forces, gravity, Newtons 1st and 2nd laws and terminal velocity. As you use the ppt you have a number of activities as you go along to help students consolidate learning and aid understanding, such as with the types of calculation they are expected to know. This power point should be accessible for all levels with the teacher only using the parts appropriate. Terminal velocity section has a worksheet to help students and is a nice class activity. Hope you like the ppt, pls leave feedback if you do. many thanks for looking at my resource.

This extensive power point covers the GCSE Additional Science Physics syllabus covering atomic structure, radioactivity, isotopes, ionising radiation, half life, alpha, beta and gamma sources, uses of radiation, radioactivity safety, nuclear fission and fusion. The power point is colourful, has good diagrams, and includes exam technique and how to answer questions. Two worksheets - atomic structure & history , balancing nuclear equations Thank you for looking at my resource, if you like it, please leave feedback.

AQA Combined Science Physics Unit P1 energy stores and systems (32 slide ppt) & P2 Electrical circuits (34 slide ppt). They cover every aspect of the theory and equations needed for these two units. Included are student tasks throughout the power point. This allows you to teach theory and then get students to consolidate with trialling equations using set questions. Additional resources to aid lessons included also.

How to calculate density - Worksheet and PP

This pack includes a power point showing step by step what density is and how to calculate it. It is suitable for both KS3 Science and KS4 GCSE Physics In the power point it gives the equation and how to calculate the density of a liquid, a regular object and an irregular object. After or during the power point students can carry out the different techniques, collecting data and working out various densities. At the end, I have included 2 worksheets which can be used as consolidation, a plenary activity, a home work or a test in next lesson.
GCSE AQA Physics - Ultrasound, magnets, electromagnets, light & sound w/sheets (13 w/sheets)

GCSE AQA Physics - Ultrasound, magnets, electromagnets, light & sound w/sheets (13 w/sheets)

The ultrasound 7 w/sheets cover what ultrasounds are, how they work, examples of uses in medicine (kidney stones/ foetal checks), how to work out distance between boundaries (using example questions), differences between x-ray, CT scans and ultrasounds. It finishes with 10 questions for the students to consolidate what they have learned. Made these sheets specifically for revision with higher tier students (turned into a little A5 revision booklet). You could set it as a home work booklet. I also used the sheets with lower ability/ struggling students to help consolidate the main scientific information they need. They liked the sheets because they were easy to understand and easy to access the scientific material. Magnets and electromagnets (2 sheets) - nice mind map on magnets and a quick fill in sheet after they have completed the work. Great for class activity as a starter, plenary, home work, or as a revision card. Even used with top set KS3 who loved it. Light and sound help w/sheets to help consolidate information from lessons.
