Included is a PowerPoint presentation on what life was like during the reign of Joseph Stalin. There are tasks for pupils to complete as well as information that can be shared electronically with pupils or printed and placed around the room. Included in this lesson are child friendly video links that give a pupils a good idea of what life might have been like. The document containing the different 'people' can be use to demonstrate how communism works, a pupil can hold each of the signs up to the class and collectively the class can discuss who should earn what money, the truth can then be revealed as to what each person would earn in a communist society. Money props work well in this activity.

Included is a PowerPoint presentation which reflects on Hitler as a world leader. There is a child friendly video included to show pupils what kind of person Hitler was and how he ran his country. Included is also a worksheet timeline which pupils can complete by cutting and sticking the events onto the corresponding time frame. Use of a survivor account would also work well and help pupils to understand the extent of the regime, many of these accounts can be found online and there are a vast number to choose from. video clips are also available on youtube.

Presentation on racial harmony taking a christian approach, including discussion prompts and questions for pupils reflection. The story of the Good Samaritan is included as an example of racial harmony.

Included here is a PowerPoint presentation on Abraham Lincoln containing information and tasks. One of the tasks is to record a witness statement as if the pupil was at the scene of the murder of Abraham, to help with this, included is a witness statement template.

Multiple lessons looking at understanding Christian values and virtues. These lessons unpack some of the virtues displayed in the story of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Ranging from the begining of the story to when the children meet the Proffessor. A good introduction to this topic including lots of activities through worksheets, questions and challenge activities.

Included here is a Powerpoint presentation and accompanying work booklet. The presentation includes all activities for pupils, from starter, to development and main activities as well as a concluding plenary. Mini plenaries are included as ‘reviews’ and learning outcomes are identified at the beginning of the lesson. All activities include a ‘challenge’ activity for higher level pupils to complete if they finish the initial task. This lesson works best with the Prince of Egypt DVD, being paused at the relevant intervals in order for pupils to complete the corresponding task. However this lesson would also work without the DVD as long as pupils have a copy of the story.
