Included are tasks for pupils to complete, questions for pupils to reflect on and resources for the main activity. The main activity involves pupils going around the room finding information out about different role models, who they are and why they are seen as a role model. They must then conclude by choosing who they think should be the top role model for women and justify their reasons why.

Included here is a Powerpoint presentation and accompanying work booklet. The presentation includes all activities for pupils, from starter, to development and main activities as well as a concluding plenary. Mini plenaries are included as ‘reviews’ and learning outcomes are identified at the beginning of the lesson. All activities include a ‘challenge’ activity for higher level pupils to complete if they finish the initial task. This lesson works best with the Prince of Egypt DVD, being paused at the relevant intervals in order for pupils to complete the corresponding task. However this lesson would also work without the DVD as long as pupils have a copy of the story.

The document containing the different 'people' can be use to demonstrate how communism works, a pupil can hold each of the signs up to the class and collectively the class can discuss who should earn what money, the truth can then be revealed as to what each person would earn in a communist society. Money props work well in this activity.
