GCSE French Options Presentation/Assembly

(3)
GCSE French Options Presentation/Assembly A PowerPoint to encourage pupil uptake at GCSE. It contains an interactive quiz on languaage learning in general along with reasons to study French specifically. Slide 9 has an overview of the AQA course but this could easily be deleted or adapted if you use a different exam board The final slide contains an embeded YouTube clip which I suggest you stop playing at 2m56 (after Emma Stone speaks) This is the link for the clip if it doesn’t automatically play in the PPT. https://youtu.be/hD8xGNNSbM4 Inspiration for this PPT taken from other resources that I have seen over the years.

I created these resources to try to engage a more challenging group who weren’t opting for French at GCSE. I used it as a follow to Module 4 in Studio 3 and as an End of year project. The class completed the tasks then worked in groups to create their own cabin crew style presentations / videos - they loved it and so did I :-)
