I have taught Parkour for 5 years and this is an excellent way to deliver the topic. This has been developed and taught to trainee teachers also. Enjoy. A full 6 lesson scheme of work for parkour with detailed lesson plans. Risk assessment is also there. The lesson plans are that detailed anyone new to parkour would be ok.

Baseline Level Generator

Baseline Level Generator

I created this resource to allow us in PE to test to students with 6 different fitness tests. This then generates a national curriculum level. It has proved very accurate, and we continue to use it. Simply collect the data from the following tests: Ilinios Agility Cooper Run Sit and Reach 35 meter sprint Wall Toss Standing Broad Jump Enter the data on the BASELINE TEST GENERATOR tab, a baseline grade will then be generated. This is great to use to test the students in Year 7 when they are given levels which are totally inaccurate. This will allow you to demonstrate to SLT their level needs changing. The fitness test information is from national normative data for children.
Aspiration assembly for KS3

Aspiration assembly for KS3

(0)
An assembly to introduce students to the idea of aspirations. It uses a quote from Will Smith to get students thinking about "building their own wall" each brick represents a skill that they need to succeed in life. The idea is that their wall won't be built yet, but as they go through school, they will acquire the required skills. The power-point can be adapted and includes a sporting video linked to "never giving up". It lasts for around 20 minutes.
