A fun way of looking at (let's face it) what's a fairly dull subject.

Causes and effects of unhealthy lifetsyle choices. Not for the faint hearted! Thanks to former colleague, Laura, for the language in slides 1 and 2.

Battleships (suitable for higher tier). Pupils use the sentence co-ordinates to locate each others' ships. The ships are the opinion sentences already written in the grids. The verboten just speeds the game up- pupils either don;t ask about these squares or the teacher can remove them to make the game last longer. The winner is the first to find the other person's 6 sentences. All sentences and opinions are in the perfect tense, so the game practises C- grade or above sentences.
