This PowerPoint was created for a Year 12 & 13 assembly on listening and doing in a Catholic Sixth Form. It is suitable for other year groups and could be very easily adapted for schools of other faiths (or none).

AQA GCSE History 1D America 1920-1973: Introduction and Isolationism
An introductory lesson covering the layout of the module and isolationism.
This lesson was created for a mixed ability Year 9 GCSE group study the new AQA Spec for Paper 1D.
It could very easily be adapted for other year groups and abilities. If you teach a different exam board then you would need to delete a couple of slides toward the beginning that are specific to AQA.

This lesson was created to teach A-Level students studying Post WW2 Britain. It could easily be adapted for other age groups.
References are made in the PowerPoint to textbook page numbers. The textbook is the Access to History: Britain 1951-2007, second edition. These references could be deleted in a matter of seconds though if you do not use this text book.

Post War Britain Lesson Bundle
This is a full year scheme of lessons. I created it to teach Post War Britain from 1945-1992 to a mixed ability Year 12 History group. The first few lessons though do cover the war years and the creation of the Welfare State to give additional context. The lessons can easily be adapted to be taught to other year groups or ability sets. The lessons follow the principle of a "flipped classroom" with prep work and discussion/debate time a key feature of every lesson in the bundle.
Life in Modern Britain
This lesson was created for a mixed ability Year 8 group. It could very easily be adapted for different groups. It includes a general lesson plan, full lesson PowerPoint and lesson work booklet.

This lesson was created for a mixed ability Year 11 group. It could very easily be adapted for different groups. It includes a general lesson plan, full lesson PowerPoint and lesson work booklet.
Russian Revolution & Dictatorship - The USSR Under Occupation in WW2
This lesson was created for a mixed ability Year 13 group studying Component 2 of the new AQA History Spec on Russia from Revolution to Dictatorship.
It could very easily be adapted for other age or ability groups and alternate exam specifications.
