I’m a passionate Reception teacher dedicated to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment. As a fully trained Makaton practitioner, I see firsthand how signing transforms communication, boosts confidence, and supports all learners—not just those with speech and language needs. Makaton makes storytelling richer, instructions clearer, and classroom interactions more inclusive, giving every child a voice. Beyond communication, I have a special love for teaching maths—surprising, given that I once found it challenging myself! Now, I’m on a mission to ensure my young learners build solid foundations through the Mastery Maths approach, making numbers fun, accessible, and meaningful. Every day, I strive to create a classroom where every child feels supported, challenged, and excited to learn. Watching their confidence grow is the best part of the job!
