AQA Christian Practices Revision darts worksheet. This is a worksheet to check pupils understanding of 20 of the main keywords or concepts or teachings within this unit of work. Pupils colour code red or green for their understanding on the dartboard, depending on how confidently they can answer the question. You can then see overall how much pupils know about this unit of work and pick out areas of weakness to work on. Done this will my GCSE group they found it really useful to check and assess knowledge on this unit of work. Pupils work through defining, applying, transforming into an image, creating a question which includes the key concept and making links to other words. Really useful approach for pupils to embed the key concepts. This includes 5 sheets one for each key concept of forgiveness, peace, conflict, War, reconciliation.

AQA RS New Spec 9-1 Christian Beliefs Exam Questions planning sheet. A good activity to get pupils planning out exam questions. This one has information on it which pupils could try and include. A focus on exam technique.

this is a slide which can be shown to pupils as a plenary at the end of a lesson or series of lessons.

AQA RS New Spec 9-1 Hinduism Cosmology revision sheet. This is based on the PIXL approach in which pupils have to reduce, transform and create. Students have some key revision information in the middle of the sheet and key words around the outside. They then reduce the information into their own words and then transform this into an image, before creating some multiple choice questions based on cosmology. Students found this useful as this was a tricky part of the Hinduism course for some pupils. Great for independent revision or study as well as being good for teachers to use as a resource to talk through with students.

AQA RS New Spec 9-1 Question 5 planning sheet. This can be used to help students plan out their answer for a Q5 answer. It is helpful as it gets pupils to plan out what key words and teachings they should use in their answer and then the key arguments for different sides. Students found this helpful to know what to include when they were practising their answers.

New Spec 9-1 AQA Religious Studies Christian Beliefs Personalised Learning Checklists PLC. Useful for pupils to RAG themselves on what they know before and then after revising. By RAGing themselves they can know the areas they have to go away and revise or seek further help for. It also has areas for them to RAG key words and quotes to see if they know any that link to that area of the specification. Set out in ‘I can’ statements so pupils can think about what they can do already and what else they need to learn. Could be used at the start of the course of before revision for the exams.

A simple sheet which can be used as a plenary reflection for pupils. It allows them to reflect on the ‘key’ elements of the lesson or set of lessons and considers what they need to do to improve next time.

This is a reflection sheet I made for my GCSE students studying the AQA religious studies new spec (from 2016). It gets pupils to think about how they did and the reflect on this and what they have to do next time. Hope it is useful!
