GCSE Physics Worksheets: All the formulas to memorise with definitions, Q&A and answers

(0)
This booklet contains all the GCSE Physics formula that need to be memorised. There is a worksheet for the formulas and they were created and then honed on weaker pupils who find it challenging to apply mathematics in Physics. The familiar format used for each topic with formulae puts the pupils at ease and they feel comfortable in using new formula in this way. The completed sheet is also included for the teachers reference. To differentiate, stronger pupils can start at the end and work backwards. Weaker pupils can then complete the first page with the teacher and try to complete the table overleaf.

KS4 GCSE Physics: Pressure in Gas (Boyle's Law) Formula Worksheet with questions and answers

(0)
This worksheet is for pressure in gas calculations at GCSE, also known as Boyle’s Law. It contains a pupil worksheet with blanks and a teachers sheet with answers. This is a standard format for physics calculations, to be used in class to introduce and practise each formula. These have been honed on lower set pupils and allows differentiation in the following way: Page 1 Notes and examples completed with the teacher Page 1 Prose based structure to answering questions about pressure Page 2 Using the test for inversley proportional from both a table of data and a graph Page 2 Numerical problem solving using the formula The expectation is that this activity can stop when some pupils have finished the final questions, as this will still have allowed all pupils to practise problem solving. The answers can be given so pupils can complete questions for revision at the end of the top if they didn’t complete all the questions in class. There is a pdf version and a .docx version that is editable.

KS4 GCSE Physics: Density Formula Worksheet with questions and answers

This worksheet is for density calculations at GCSE. It contains a pupil worksheet with blanks and a teachers sheet with answers. The harder questions reference vernier callipers and micrometers which are in the density core practical. This is a standard format for physics calculations, to be used in class to introduce and practise each formula. These have been honed on lower set pupils and allows differentiation in the following way: Page 1 Notes and examples completed with the teacher Page 2 Table, allows pupils to practise using the formula and manipulating it Page 2 Table, higher order skills for stronger pupils include s.f. and prefixes Page 2 Questions, these get harder as you work down the questions. The expectation is that this activity can stop when some pupils have finished the final questions, as this will still have allowed all pupils to practise problem solving. The answers can be given so pupils can complete questions for revision at the end of the top if they didn’t complete all the questions in class. There is a pdf version and a .docx version that is editable.

KS4 GCSE Physics: Latent Heat of Vaporisation and Fusion Formula Worksheet with Q&A

(0)
This worksheet is for latent heat of vaporisation and latent heat of fusion calculations at GCSE. It contains a pupil worksheet with blanks and a teachers sheet with answers. This is a standard format for physics calculations, to be used in class to introduce and practise each formula. This has two very similar formats to help make the link between the similarity of the latent heat formulas. One page for each formula and then the teachers version. There is a pdf version and a .docx version that is editable.
