Year 7 scheme of work - ‘Telling the Story’ The focus on this scheme of work is using Literary Theory to grow cultural capital in KS3. The aim is to introduce and embed knowledge of key theories and then apply this to some popular myths and legends. The formative assessment is retrieval based, and the summative is a speaking task. The scheme comes with fully prepared lessons and resources ready to print, spelling tests and literacy checkpoints, and assessments (with accompanying mark schemes). Enjoy :)
