5 a day English Literature starters
A collection of starters usable with KS4 GCSE groups.
Questions are based on: Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls and Power and Conflict poetry.
The aim is to push students to recall details, quotes and events for all the texts to support confidence with the exam only nature of the new AQA specification.
Ideal as starters and settling tasks.
KS3 Close Reading Booklet
A booklet encouraging students to engage with some classic works of literature. Most activities are based around comprehension skills and skills required for AQA’s Language Paper 1 including language analysis and creative writing.
Perfect as a series of short tasks completed as homework, in form time or as revision tasks.
Ideal as a KS3 to 4 transition piece.
