Our Triple Pack is specifically aimed at upskilling senior drama students (upper KS3, senior phase GET and IB Diploma Program) using a cross-curricular approach which intersects with English Language and Literature, Media Studies and Visual Arts. This entire bundle is expected to be achievable for students over the course of an entire year using a 2 hours per week lesson model.
All of our upskilling workbooks include an upskilling target tracker and rubric. Please note: we would welcome a chance to support teachers in adjusting our GCSE-centric rubrics and trackers into a model that suits a different curriculum from around the world. Please do reach out to us if this would suit you. We cover our topics using interactive discussion starters, scaffolded theory knowledge, a range of associated activities and tasks, and step-by-step guidelines to achieve success. We also include opportunities for extension, differentiation, AFL via progress checkpoints and Fix-It Target prompts.
Our lesson presentations are saved as Powerpoint Presentations and are directly linked to workbook content without being too prescriptive. Teachers are therefore free to add or subtract from the scheme of work in relation to their teaching style and cohort abilities. Our presentations are all dedicated to an interactive classroom culture, references to pop culture, theory and practical applications, and a holistic cross-curricular approach.
Our performance bundle includes:
30-page upskilling workbook: performance theory

Our Bloom’s Ladder is a pastel colour display item that can be printed as A3 posters. Under each of the six levels we’ve decided to use on our ladder you’ll find a series of buzzwords that relate to the type of questioning that is applicable to that level of knowledge acquisition for performing arts students across secondary and sixth form. our levels are also defined for students who wish to learn how knowledge is acquired in and outside of the classroom.
The fonts we’ve used have been specifically chosen to support students who are dyslexic or have other reading difficulties. We’ve also chosen a subtle pastel colour palette to account for students who might be susceptible to sensory-overload (especially in vibrant theatre spaces!) Please do contact us if you might prefer an even more subtle version or - as has sometimes been requested - a monochromatic colour scheme.
A two-page document which can be printed or distributed online for students who wish to expand their abilities across a variety of skills and styles in the performing arts. Set up as a stand-alone resource, this was used in our classroom for high-flyers that needed further challenge or high octane end-of-term lessons with a carousel approach.
The document instructions are as follows: “In the Performing Arts we use expansion packs to encourage students to widen their exploration of theatre. This practical expansion pack offers you a variety of mini-tasks to complete as an optional addition to your learning this year and can allows you to explore according to your interests. Every time you complete a full row, make sure to get a stamp or signature from your teacher… the more of these you collect throughout the year, the more chances you’ll have to be rewarded in different ways!”
Includes upskilling mini-tasks in:
Scriptwriting
Performing
Designing
Devising
Directing
Research
A full secondary and sixth form target tracker document which includes bespoke rubrics for Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. All rubrics have been crafted through the use of both Edexcel GCSE and A-level marking schemes. The rubrics have been divided according to a holistic view of KS3 and a component-by-component breakdown of Years 11 and 13 which engages their corresponding skills in design, performance, devising and evaluative tasks. This ensures there is continuity in lingo used from Year 7 to Year 13, making it easier for students to plot their own learning journey from KS3 through to sixth form.
This resource has been revised over the course of four years with tweaks made for accessibility and ease of use for students when engaging their own learning journey.
Time saved for teacher: approximately 50 hours
