In this pack you will find a worksheet for each objective for Year 5/6 - Geometry—Properties of shape. There is an 11 page document for the pupils to be printed off and used during revision. This is followed by an 11 page answer document for the teacher to support your teaching. Some of the drawing shapes questions will need to be checked by the teacher. The children will need extra squared paper for this. This pack will take at least 2 one hour revision sessions with modelling, working and discussing. My class have really enjoyed this. A set of grids to revise Number for the Key Stage 2 SATs. Each grid has 9 questions and an accompanying answer grid. Sheets comprise: Number and Place Value - including ordering, sequences, values of digits, greater than and less than, negative number and rounding. Addition and subtraction - including decimals, missing numbers and word problems. Multiplication and division - including factors, multiples, common factors, square and cube numbers and prime numbers. Multiplication and Division 2 - including multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100 with whole numbers and decimals, word problems and BoDMAS. These could be used as Early Morning work or Starters to Maths lessons in the run up to SATs. Another way to use them would be to cut them up, laminate them and use them as an active Maths lesson.

This is an 8 page document which supports Varied Fluency for Year 6, Spring 1 Week 1 - WRM. Pupils complete number sentences represented by place value counters; they make their own numbers using the manipulatives included on the place value grid; they identify the value of different digits and match numbers to place value descriptions. There are 2 sheets of answers also included. Manipulatives included: a place value grid for tens, ones, tenths, hundredths and thousandths and counters to represent tens, ones, tenths, hundredths and thousandths. These should be printed out so that each child has their own set.

This document supports Varied Fluency for Year 5, Spring Block 1, week 1 to 3 - WRM. The document comprises: An example page for modelling using Base 10 and a multiplication grid; a larger grid on a separate page with 5 set calculations ; a page of manipulatives to print in Base 10; an answer page and teacher instructions. The teacher could set further examples using the same method or the pupils could set them for a partner.

This document supports Year 5 - WRM- Spring block 2 - week 4 - Equivalent fraction, and has a pancake theme. Yummy! There are: 3 worksheets. The first sheet asks the pupils to match 3 equivalent fractions and then choose another one for each plate. The second gives fractions in tenths and hundredths and asks the pupils to write an equivalent fraction. The third one has all blank plates - the pupils write a fraction and then swap with their partner and ask them to write an equivalent fraction. No answer sheet is included as the answers will depend on the pupil's choice.

This resource has instructions and a measures poster which explains how to convert from miles to kilometres. There is a set of cards where the children have to match up the correct miles to kilometres - this is a good ACTIVE MATHS opportunity. I have added a table with the miles in which the children have to complete by working out the right number of kilometres. They can then go and find the right km card.
