A learning mat to enable students to identify the key risks that occur during sport as well as describe ways in which risks can be reduced. Students were also challenged to apply knowledge further after completing the worksheet. Students were also give QR codes to scan to watch different sporting activities to analyse risks within that sport to share with the rest of the group.

A resource designed for students to pretend they are market stall traders working for Del Boy as part of the Only Fools and Horses team. I allowed students time to gather information on their topic (which was differentiated based on ability, for example calcium and iron were give to a student with lower ability and vitamins A,D,K given to a student with higher ability) the information was then shared with the class as expert market stall traders. The person with the best information on their micronutrient got the job with Del Boy (reward). Used the theme tune from the show to act as a timer. Students were then given the opportunity to apply their knowledge to an exam based question. Worked well so enjoy and feel free to contact me for further information.
