A* Sociology OCR A level inequalities revision

For A level students who study OCR sociology and need revision on inequalities. I created this 8 page revision sheets set which includes: age, ethnic, gender and social class inequalities and evidence for inequalities in these areas like education, media, economic and health (statistics). This is a really useful resource which i am using for my exams this year as it has pretty much everything you would need for section B in the UNIT 2 exam. [edited: the end result of using all my resources was an A*] I would recommend writing these down on flash cards and trying to remember who says what, and the statistics. I have done statistics for each area and found that it is important to know between 9-12 stats. hope this is as useful for you as it is for me :) (the preview is of the evidence page for social class, my grids for inequality theorists are large and contain 4 sociologists in almost all of them)

A* A level OCR Sociology revision on educational policies

I Made this resource because I found it difficult to remember both he dates of the policies and the party they came from along side whether the policies supported: equality of opportunity, diversity and choice, raising standards or meet needs of the economy. in the 2019 paper i got an A* and i only revised from my notes uploaded I put them in chronological order and then included the criticising theorists for each policy and what they argue the policy doesn’t support i found this really useful so hopefully someone else will too x

A* youth subcultures OCR A-level sociology

this is a quick and easy table that can be remembered to help you understand the different sociological theorists that talk about youth subcultures. i have included:marxist, functionalist, post modernist, interactionalist, types of subcultures, characteristics and reasons for emergence. i found this very useful as it isn’t a time consuming thing to learn but in this grid will make it easier to learn due to the colours. i would recommend writing these onto revision cards so you can test yourself or get someone else to test you.

A* differential achievement questions Sociology unit 3 OCR

i have planned two forty mark questions for the differential achievement questions in the education section of paper 3. This could be useful for structure if you are a bit unsure or if you would like past questions to complete and check if they could be marked correctly. I found tasks like this very useful as it helps you learn the structure and content through applying it to questions you may get in the exam.
