Made as a revision tool for years 10 and 11. Fully editable. Covers all of the communicable diseases required on the AQA 9-1 trilogy specification. Includes trype of pathogen, symptoms, transmission, use of antibotics and prevention of malaria. I intend to use this with post it notes to link out to other areas of the specification - this has worked well previously with all abilities.

A series of 13 lessons covering AQA Trilogy spec C4.3 up to and including vaccination. Produced for mid set year 10 but with differentiated leaning outcomes so suitable for most abilities. Lessons all follow the same format; bell time activity to engage students as they enter, LO with keywords, thinking / discussion points around the topic and differentiated plenary. Activities are varied and include a Tarsia, to review learning, that I will have to email to you as the format is not supported on TES. Required practicals and mathematical elements are clearly identified within the lesson and there are opportunities for students to develop skills in data analysis, evaluating, making comparisons and applying their knowledge and understanding. I have included notes on some slides to help any non-specialists so please excuse me if you feel I have stated the obvious!
