This is what I use when first introducing each letter sound to the children. It is a great way to help them to recognise the shape of each letter and to practice saying the sound aloud. They practice reading, tracing, drawing and colouring the sound as they learn it. Organise the book into the order that you teach each letter. Includes a front cover. Jolly Phonics Songs and Action Posters! Each letter sound’s poster includes; the song (& tune), the action to make, a picture to ‘hear’ how it sounds in an object a simple word to practice ‘sounding out’ using the sound buttons. These are great as a display to introduce a new sound OR could be made into a book for kids. The poster could also be sent home for kids to practice with parents. I’ve made these posters A4 size with two posters on each page. You could also expand in your printer settings and print these A3 if you’d rather each sound was A4 size.
