This booklet has enough resources to cover a full half term (or longer) of Pop Music & Pop Songs. There are enough tasks to cover homework, classroom activities and much more. The overall project is for a group of students to compose their own pop songs. Students will learn how to play chords on guitar or keyboard, how to play a basic drum beat and how a pop song is structured. Students will also write their own lyrics. There are two files - the word document, which can be edited to suit your own school's layouts and a PDF showing the original layout designed for my old school to give you an idea.
