About
Dylan is a graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where he studied for a BMus(Hons) degree in Organ Performance, in addition to his studies in choral conducting and early music. Dylan is a prizewinning teacher, completing his PGCE with QTS specialising in Secondary Education Music from Birmingham City University in July 2022. He currently holds the position of Teacher of Music and Head of Pankhurst House at The Warriner School, where he has helped shape the Music Department culture, securing a new electronic organ from the Royal College of Organists, established the UK’s first state school baroque ensemble ‘Warriner Baroque’ and set up the school’s Senior Choir and Organ Club. Last year, Dylan was made a recipient of the Silver Award for ‘Outstanding New Teacher of the Year’ in the Pearson National Teaching Awards 2024 (often referred to as the Oscars of Teaching).
