A 2 part lesson whcih shows the themes of the poem and also provides annotations, some of which are phrased as questions so that students are not copying the entire lesson. There is also a fun section using paper planes as a plenary for lesson 1. Lesson 2 uses prior learning from part 1 so that students can practice their poetry analysis using a stuctured paragraph.

Julius Caesar - Outline Scheme of Work - GCSE Literature

An outline for a scheme of work for William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. This scheme of work is in use at my current school. Following completion of the scheme, classroom teachers then teach or upskill students in areas where they need. This is done and planned by each teacher individually as they understand the needs of what each class needs in terms of consolidation and understanding of their knowledge. Good luck and thank you!
