Reader of the Week - bookmark award

(1)
A template for bookmarks awarding ‘Reader of the Week’ for children who have demonstrated exceptional reading skills (i.e. someone who perseveres even if they find reading tough, or who has a genuine love for reading!) These four designs can be edited and easily photocopied onto card for hand out.

Missing digits (multiplication worksheet)

Based on a page from Adrian and Jeni Pinel’s ‘Number Magic’ book, this worksheet asks students to solve a series of missing number questions relating to multiplication. They will have to use their knowledge of times tables to try different numbers to find the solutions. A great activity for consolidation of multiplication knowledge (and also set out in a fun way!)

A poster of an ‘alphabet rap’ song. Works well in EYFS and is a fresh way to teach the alphabet. Create the rhythm for the rap by repeatedly slapping knees and clapping hands and saying the words of the rap alongside this.
