Missmills1990's Shop

Average Rating4.27
(based on 17 reviews)

As teachers we are often going 90mph all day and then get home and have to keep working at 90mph to mark books, create homework or plan lessons. This lifestyle is something we as teachers share, however we don't always share enough of our work. I want my shop to be a place you can come and find things you are searching for at the end of a long day or first thing on a Monday morning, when you forgot to plan a starter for that Yr 8 class. My resources are fun and engaging and I hope you like them!

These resources look at booking a hotel room. The two part lessons work through booking a room and the vocabulary needed. Both lessons are fun and engaging with lots of kinaesthetic activities to involve all students. Activities include quickfire rounds, games and tasks that get students up and out of their seats (can be done on a smaller scale at table with more hectic classes). Resources are easily printable and adaptable to your SOWs or teaching style. If you like these resources please take a look at the others I have to offer :) Similarly please review so I know how to improve.

As teachers we often have to be men/women of many trades, and it is for this reason I have created a toolbox/toolkit idea to help you in the class room. Attached is a booklet with ideas of what you should include in your toolbox and suggestions of how to use these items, so that they assist you in creating easy yet fun and engaging activities. The possibilities are endless, but I think the ideas provided will prove really useful in your classroom. If you like these resources please take a look at the others I have to offer :)

Do you ever get writers block.... or planners block should I say?! Do you find yourself using the same resources or same task ideas again and again?! Are you stuck in a rut!?! I have created a list of activities for the 4 main skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking), as well as numeracy and literacy. There are 100+ ideas in this document. Also attached is a lesson grid so you can keep track of the types of tasks you are doing with your class, so that you don't end up doing translations or match ups with the same class every lesson!! If you like these resources please take a look at the others I have to offer :)
