French Table Vocabulary : Revision Worksheet

French Table Vocabulary : Revision Worksheet

Worksheet to practice and revise basic cutlery and crockery vocabulary. Pupils should look, say, cover, and write each word before checking that they spelt it correctly. You can also easily adapt the resource by asking them to fill in the second column without looking at the French word so that the exercise becomes a vocabulary test too. An extension task is provided for pupils to complete with additional vocabulary that they can look up in a dictionary. I have found this exercise particularly effective with low ability groups and pupils with SEN as a revision exercise with a focus on accuracy.

French Food Vocabulary : Internet Shopping List

French Food Vocabulary : Internet Shopping List

Really popular worksheet with all my pupils and a great task for independent learning. Pupils use French supermarket website to create their own vocabulary list (recommend www.auchan.fr as one that is easy to use). Pupils will learn 100 new words without even realising that they are working! Also a great activity to include on a school trip to France. Pupils can visit the local supermarket and complete their shopping list using the shop labels to help them.
