Sentence building intervention activity with sight words

Sentence building intervention activity with sight words

I’m an EL teacher, and many of my young learners have trouble with writing and understanding even the basic sentences they are reading. This resource uses easy-to-understand graphics to help kids read, then trace, then sort a sentence. It also links those graphics to some of the first sight words they need to learn (ex. I, see, like, we). It’s been a great resource for struggling students and English learners especially! We laminate these and use Velcro dots to make this into an easy center or independent activity for struggling learners, or it could be sent home or used individually as a read, trace, cut, and paste activity for more independent learners.
