As an experienced Teacher of Art and Design and Head of Deaprtment, I have spent many years creating resources. I am always looking to improve and develop more contemporary links into my curriculum and have worked hard in creating a huge bank resources. Please watch this space as I continue to add to my shop. If it is of use to someone else and may save you some time in this crazy profession I am more than happy to share. Thank you :-)

Secondary Art & Design Assessment without Levels Framework - Year 7-11 Teacher & Student versions!

Do you have a clear and consistent structure for assessment in your Art & Design department now that we have no levels? After a year of hard work, I have created a simple and easy to follow assessment framework for all years, 7-11. Tracking back from Y11 GCSE criteria, standards and expectations, back to year 7. This A3 framework is easy to follow and comes in a teacher version and simplified student version, ideal for display. There are 4 'bands' for each year group that you can label as you like, each on a flight path towards a new GCSE. I have been using this since September and have found it very easy to follow and works well. I have also created A4 project specific assessment templates for years 7-9 , which are populated with the descriptors from the framework along with a completed example. Thanks for looking.
