Isometric Drawing: Lego Man

Isometric Drawing: Lego Man

This is a step by step sequenced animated resource that allows students to develop their understanding of Isometric drawing, crating, drawing three dimensional forms in birds eye and worms eye view and finally rendering and light direction. You can click the animations back and forward to suit the pace of your class. I based this resource on the Lego man as he is made up of a wide range of geometrical forms that students need to be able to draw when designing products. This resource took me a very long time to produce and has underpinned the skills and knowledge my students have of drawing and designing in three dimensions . The lesson objectives are as follows: You will develop your freehand isometric drawing skills You will be able to use the crating technique to produce three dimensional drawings You will experiment with a range of techniques to enhance you drawings I would really appreciate it if you would leave a review of my resource.
