I have been teaching since 2005 having worked in the design industry as a product designer. I have a passion for producing resources of the highest standards that will make an impact in the classroom. Over the past 10 years I have produced a large catalog of resources that have been used successfully in the classroom. Each resource has taken time to produce as they are all sequenced step by step animated resources allowing you to move forward or back to meet the needs of all learners.

Isometric drawing tasks

Isometric drawing tasks: These tasks have worked really well for me to get students to develop their attention to detail and understanding of the Isometric drawing technique. Task: Using Isometric paper or a drawing board and a 30 degree set square you must draw each of these solids to the correct scale on to A3 paper. EXTENSION: Assuming a light source from above and to the left, carefully render each solid using colouring pencils.

This is an Isometric drawing project that I have produced to develop students attention to detail and their ability to sketch confidently in isometric. This includes step by step animated tutorials that show students how to construct Isometric sketches of the Lego man components. Each slide has several animated images that appear when clicked. I have created several sequenced stages that appear when you click. It works very well in the class room as you can move forward and backwards when needed. You will not be disappointed with this resource. It has been tried and tested with GCSE and A Level students.

One point Perspective Letters

(0)
This is sequenced step by step resource demonstrating the One point Perspective drawing technique to produce 3D letter forms. I have used this as a starter activity and a full lesson with rendering techniques. I spent a long time creating this resource and have used it for many years with Key stage 3. It has been animated to help students understand the fundamental principles of the One point Perspective drawing technique. You can easily animate forward and backwards to cater for the different abilities in your class. Please leave a review if you purchase this resource. I hope this helps your teaching.
Colour Wheel Colour Theory

Colour Wheel Colour Theory

(0)
This is sequenced step by step colour wheel resource with printable worksheets sheets. I spent a long time creating this resource and have used it for many years with Key stage 3 and 4. It covers detailed colour theory and includes colour theory tasks. You can move forward and backwards to support your students. You can pitch this at many levels allowing students to develop a detailed understanding of colour theory.

One Point Perspective Drawing and Rendering

(0)
One Point Perspective Drawing and Rendering You must produce an accurate One Point Perspective drawing of three cuboids. You must use a sharp pencil and draw light lines at all times. Use a ruler to draw all straight lines. You must shade each cuboid using the Light, Medium and Dark, shading technique. Success Criteria: Use a sharp pencil to draw light lines at all times Vertical and Horizontal lines drawn using a ruler. Construction lines must go to the vanishing point. Rendering Light, Medium and Dark tones Shading should not go outside the lines Shading should be in the same direction Shading should be neat and even without any patches

This is a step by step animated tutorial that shows students how to produce an Isometric nut and bolt. Each slide has several animated images that appear when clicked. I have created several sequenced stages that appear when you click. It also includes an orthographic drawing that you can print for students to refer to. It works very well in the class room as you can move forward and backwards when needed. Each slide also animates how to use a compass to create isometric circles. You will not be disappointed with this resource. It has been tried and tested. Lesson Objectives You will be able to produce complex Isometric drawings You will be able to accurately measure and mark out your drawing You could apply tonal shading to your Isometric drawing

This is a step by step sequenced PowerPoint that students can follow to create an Isometric cube with a square hole on three faces. This is a single PowerPoint slide with several sequenced stages that appear when you click. It works very well in the class room as you can move forward and backwards when needed. Each slide also animates how to use the isometric set square for each step. You will not be disappointed with this resource. It has been tried and tested and is a favorite in the departments I have worked in. You can view the full animation sequence at my you tube channel. I would really appreciate it if you would leave a review of my resource. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctMtVbehdXA&list=PLT6Fms60aenCgeRB_F5MR3mb2V6LXriE7&index=4 The lesson objectives are as follows. You will be able to understand the Isometric drawing technique You will use the Isometric drawing technique to visualise three dimensional components You must demonstrate accuracy when measuring and marking out your work
