Using Myanmar as an example case study and evaluating whether it should become a tourism hot spot based on different stake holders, students work in groups to evaluate whether their given stakeholder is in favour or against tourism and reasons why, they then share this with the class to add to a sheet that covers all stakeholders opinions. Finally, students make their own mind up and answer the enquiry question.

Negatives of Tourism lesson looking at several impacts, a card sort activity where negatives are paired with their definitions and then organised in their seriousness related to different tourist locations. Students evaluate the negatives of tourism against the positives and come to their own conclusions. Creating a dos and don’ts of being a good tourism activity to finish.
