Created for online delivery. Linked to Welsh standards. Based around Bible Reading Luke 10:25 and being a good samaritan / being an ethical global citizen with independent tasks for pupils after lesson. I linked the pupil evaluation in the PPT to a Google form.
I used this Flipchart during an online lesson. This lesson covers the importance of asking questions as part of increasing self awareness in learning. Recognising - interactive sorting activity Asking - interactive who to ask in the community + ask contributions from class Reflecting - Class discussion Fun spin the wheel game to play with class
Flipchart I used for an online lesson to go over what is needed for successful learning. Growth Mindset - interactive activity Perserverance Noticing - video Managing distractions - spot the distractions Knowing when to ask for help - class discussion Plenary discussion covering key takeaways
Labels for displaying the four purposes and a brief summary of skills for each and smaller versions for pupil self assessment.
I struggled to find a visual timetable to fit my classroom so have made my own in boho style. Days of the week in English, Welsh and German. Welsh AOLEs included. Clock template to use with timetable if needed and two spare to edit yourself.
I made these as part of our ongoing habitat project in which the pupils made dioramas of their chosen habitats. They had looked at the larger animals that live in these habitats so I developed these PPTs for each pupil so that they start to understand the complexity of each habitat. Each PPT has an introductory video (under 10 mins) to support understanding of the task. Task is to place the correct insects/small animals onto the habitat picture. Each pupil will need to explain why they think it is suited to its habitat (adaptations) and think about whether it is predator or prey. My class are ALN (SEN) so I have a classbook that I will record oral discussion in. You could easily adapt this so that these questions are either on the presentation itself or on a worksheet or as a grouped task with a class presentation. The PPT will need to be viewed in edit not presentation mode to allow pupils to drag and drop the items. Can be edited and expanded upon to save time. Spent all morning doing this so save yourself the time! Please let me know if any problems :-)
I’ve just edited this standard document to make it easier to scroll through. Hope it is of use to someone!
Used for Enhanced Provision, but could be used for wet play and more. Includes instructions to display (editable), cards for pupils to record some key questions (editable), their times and a certificate for best marble run.
Designed for online lesson in line with welsh LLC AOLE although easily amended. For the lesson evaluation you could link to a PADLET or Google form for pupils. All are word documents so editable! Hope they are helpful :-)
I made this for flipchart for a short online lesson as part of our ’ What makes a good learner’ series. This introduces pupils to paying attention- using their senses to meditate. THe pupils then used their knowledge to help someone in their house to have a mindful moment. I popped a QR to our class Padlet on the bottom of the scripts so that they could share some of their reflections. What they found difficult, what helped them stay focused etc Learning objectives being: ‘I understand there are things can distract me from learning’ ‘I can use my mind to focus’ .
My class love being a teaching assistant for the day! Benefits include picking up the printing, dismissing for breaks etc and the class vote if they have been a good TA at the end of the day and then they earn a star.
I couldn’t find a resource which would help to give an at a glance overview of skills coverage for the new Curriculum for Wales so I made one! Hope it saves someone else some time.
Created this activity to do alongside my new book purchase ‘The Proudest Blue’ . Nice to consolidate similies and to encourage empathy, generate discussion and an awareness of the importance of the hijab. One editable document and one pdf.
I got this idea from Lori McDonough I will take profile photos of the class and ask each child what they would like to be when they grow up. I will put each photo on the circles and personalise each on according to the career aspirations. I will then print this on A3 paper and have it up on display throughout the year! This is fully editable with some pics to use to customise.
