A 22 page pdf revision booklet for Unit 2 of the Level 3 Cambridge Technicals IT course. This is aimed at sixth form students to aid with revision for the examination, encouraging a variety of techniques, including self-testing and mind mapping. Intended as a starting point for revision or to check knowledge and understanding of different topics within the unit.
60 arrival activities linking to almost every topic in Unit 1 (ICT in society) of the 2022 WJEC Level 1/2 Vocational Award in ICT. Mix of short questions, mind maps, definitions, things to think about and more.
Could be used as arrival activities, quick tasks, or exit ticket activities.
All on PowerPoint, so can be edited if desired.
All activities are referenced to the content number within the spec for easy searching, and follow the order of the Unit 1 content from WJEC.
Produced in line with content in the Cambridge Nationals Level 1/2 R064 Enterprise and Marketing Concepts.
These worksheets, created in PowerPoint, are suitable to be used in a variety of ways. Great for arrival activities to get students thinking about a new topic, or to review what was covered in a previous lesson, or to use for homework to consolidate learning, or even to use as part of a revision pack to revisit topics ahead of the exam.
I hope that you find these useful.

5 word searches, each with 35 words, based around each of the 5 Learning Objectives of Unit 1 - Fundamentals of IT.
These have all been created in Word so that you can modify them easily, or use as per the ‘Word Search Tasks’ sheet which suggests the option of deleting the words from the word list and trying to identify relevant words independently. Task sheet also gives a few other suggestions for extension tasks related to the word searches so that students can better revise or extend learning.
This resource was created by myself as a project booklet for Key Stage 3 students to work on as part of an extra-curricular challenge alongside their usual Computing lessons.
It has 12 Computing tasks, all linked to aspects of the National Curriculum. These tasks would be suitable as a series of homework tasks, or distance learning tasks for students to work through independently alongside their IT / Computer Science lessons.
The booklet is created in Word, therefore you can edit to suit your setting and requirements. The additional file is a ‘bad poster’ which one of the tasks requires students to repurpose to make suitable for a stated audience/purpose.
This PowerPoint presentation contains 20 slides that can be printed as worksheets or completed electronically, covering each of the Learning Outcomes for Unit 2 Global Information.
The sheets are intended to be used as starter activities, or for recalling information. There is a key terms sheet for each of the 6 Learning Outcomes, covering words relevant to each section.
