Some resources to help with understanding of A Streetcar Named Desire Warning: these are not complete. Scenes 1-11 with some ‘opening SD’ commentaries missing as I make videos, notes and sometimes just do discussions where we talk about the importance of the first few pages before distributing notes.

Sample colour-coded paragraphs on Gerald as sometimes selfish and sometimes thoughtful. I generally tend to give them to my students and ask them to finish the essay. Hopefully they are helpful.

Hi all, This is a lesson taken from the CCEA SAM that guides students through an analysis of the language and presentational features of the Titanic Wedding Brochure. I have then sourced materials from: Alton Towers, The Galgorm Spa and Resort, The Royal Hospital and Childline, with similar questions to ensure that students can practise answering the new style questions in preparation for the exam. Hope it helps

Robert Frost's Into My Own Analysis

The following resource is a video I have made that analyses Robert Frost's 'Into My Own' I use it for the CCEA specification: The Study of Poetry 1900-Present and it contains notes on: language and imagery, rhyme, rhythm, structure, tone, speaker, analysis of title, context etc. I have uploaded it in MP4. I generally ask students to analyse the poem using question prompts in class and then send them home to watch the videos to ensure I am expedient with my time management. It also ensures students can discuss the poem to understand it fully during class time and then get the thorough analysis required at home. Hopefully you find this useful. Thanks *NOTE: When I upload more analytical videos I will be compiling them into a Bundle so it is cheaper for you to purchase!
