We have created a new course based on GCSE spec for KS3 to get them used to exam practice. I have made a number of lessons on the WWI, WWII and the Cold War (A total of 10 hours worth for Cold War). In those 10 hours students practice Edexcel's 4, 12 and 16 mark questions. This is an lesson on the Korean War with a number of different tasks. There is an opportunity for students to learn chronology as well as learn about the different events that took place during the Korean War. Please don't forget to rate! :)

There is a long, depth focus on how to structure this for Year 8, with a clear sense of tasks to complete in order to 'guide' students to 12/12. Recommended 2 hours of teaching. This lesson was conducted through a TES assessor who gave 'good/outstanding'. It focuses on tackling essay and source questions. Although the source and essay question is specific to the paper, it can be adjusted to suit your questions.
