A great resource that I have used with most classes every year. It really gets the discussions going about the difference between shapes. It also make for a challenging competition / race. A basic activity that matches 2D Shape names, diagrams and descriptions. Ideal printed, cut and laminated so that you can use again and again as a nice kinaesthetic activity. Can also be printed / displayed for students to write down the letters of the matching items. Suitable for KS3 and KS4 students. Solutions included.

9 pairs. Answers included. To make a class set, print each pair in different colours so that you can see them easily around the room. That way, if one gets dropped on the floor, it's easy to spot which pack it's come from. These can also be printed 2 on 1 and students simply write down the paired references. An ideal 'starter' activity.

A great resource to help motivate students. Print copies of these off (laminate if possible) and hand them out as and when you feel students deserve them. Count them up at the end of a session and reward as required. These work brilliantly for making the quiet, often overlooked students feel valued. Ideal for students of all ages. Get printing and get rewarding!

A great display to help motivate students of all ages. These look fab printed out in colour on A3 paper and laminated. Once laminated and displayed you can write on them again and again with a dry wipe pen. Perfect for a weekly update. Included in the pack are colour and black & white versions for Secondary or Primary classes. There’s also a ‘starry’ title to help you on your way. We’ve also filled one in as an example of how they might look when used. (We don’t expect you to use our reasons!) Who you pick is up to you, but you can bet it will help to keep them trying and therefore progressing!
