I am a teacher currently teaching mathematics and physics at Gitega International Academy, found in Burundi. I apply various teaching methodologies to create essential successive tasks that offer guidance and challenge learners. I examine the progress of every student by maintaining suitable records and preparing progress reports. I collaborate with not only staff but also parents to ensure there is proper development of all students. My work history includes an internship at School of the Nations where I taught mathematics and to physics year 7 and 8. Besides, I helped year 9 students in mathematics and physics revision. My teaching philosophy states that each student has a unique ability and comes to school having acquired some knowledge. For this reason, students should be accorded an opportunity to give their opinions or suggestions during the lesson rather than treating them as those who come to class with an empty brain to be filled with information.
